Dr. Georg Kippels

Dear colleagues, I am excited to be part of a new group in our joint five years. NTDs are a matter of concern for me for nearly 10 years. Being affected by one of these diseases can destroy a person’s live and can be a huge burden for their family. The three most important aspects of my fight against NTDs are, first to deliver the existing drugs to every last corner where they are needed, health system strengthening is therefor on my political agenda. Second to support the research for new diagnostics and drugs where they are needed, funds for PDPs are therefor on my political agenda. And last but not least emphasising the importance of German engagement on Global health in parliament as well as in meetings of governmental officials in Germany and partner countries.
